In an interview with the Director of Kabale Junior School, Sunday John Bosco, he expressed his overwhelming excitement and joy for the school's triumph in the tournament. Sunday attributed the remarkable win to a combination of factors, namely, the blessings of God and the unwavering hard work put forth by the school's students and coaching staff.

The elation of victory aside, one concern that was raised by the schools is the lack of government support for private institutions in such competitions. Despite their remarkable performances and contributions to sports, private schools like Kabale Junior School and Child Africa International School often face the burden of limited financial assistance and resources from the government.

Geoffrey Beinomugisha, the chairperson of the Uganda National Teachers Union (UNATU) for Kabale Municipality, has praised the significance of sport games like the Kabale Municipal Council Ball Games as a fulfillment of the current curriculum's emphasis on practical lessons and skills alongside traditional classroom work. According to him, such sporting events provide valuable opportunities for students to apply the knowledge they acquire in the classroom to real-life situations, fostering a more well-rounded and holistic educational experience.
Beinomugisha further explained that the municipality had taken a collaborative approach to promote sports development among schools. They agreed to form one unified team comprising talented players from all the participating schools in the Kabale Municipal Council Ball Games. This team will represent Kabale Municipality in the national competitions organized by the Uganda Primary School Sports Association (UPSSA) for Ball Games.

Presiding over the finals, Kedress Mutabazi, the Deputy Mayor of Kabale Municipality, delivered an inspiring message to the young learners. She emphasized the importance of discipline in all aspects of life and encouraged the students to uphold this virtue both on and off the field. Her call for discipline and support echoed the sentiment that sports not only build physical skills but also instill valuable life lessons.
Addressing the parents and schools present at the event, Mutabazi urged them to support and nurture the children's talents recognizing the significant role that parental and school support plays in the development of young athletes.

In another thrilling game held at the Kabale Municipal Stadium, Child Africa International School achieved a hard-fought victory against Hornby School in netball, triumphing with an impressive score line of 7-4.
