How to Solve an Inequality with Absolute Value Bars
There are 4 types of answers your can get when you're solving absolute value inequalities.
1 - an AND inequality
2 - an OR inequality
3 - All Real Numbers
4 - No Solution

When we solve these, the first thing we want to do is to get the absolute value alone on one side of the inequality. After this, we split the inequality into two inequalities and look at the inequality sign to know if it is an AND or OR inequality.
