After the confrontation with Valtor that causes Layla to go blind, the Winx meet the mermaid Tressa, whose mother has been imprisoned by the mermaid goons.
The Winx find the cure for Layla's blindness but Layla must chose between saving the queen of mermaids or curing her own blindness...
Fun Fact about the episode before this one, in the 4Kids airing Bloom's shirt keeps changing in some shots. This was because the season 3 episodes were airing first in the US at the time, Season 3 did not air in Italy until January 2007, 2 months after the airdate of this episode. This error is fixed in the Cinelume dub as well as the DVD version.
