How to Get the Storm Cannon & Stormbird Locations, for Legendary Gear in Horizon Forbidden West
The Stormbird Storm Cannon is one of the hardest components to farm for Legendary Armor and Weapon upgrades in Horizon Forbidden West. We show you the location of the Stormbirds and the component (the Storm Cannon) on the machine. We also tell you how to get the ideal bow and ammo to dislodge the cannon every time. The ideal bow is the Glowblast Sharpshot Bow. This very rare (purple) weapon is better than Forgefall for high tear and low damage situations. Get the Glowblast Sharpshot bow from the hunter in Thornmarsh after getting the base after the "Dying Lands" main quest. There is one unmarked Stormbird that spawns by the waterfall in the mountains with a Dreadwing. The other is on the Isle of Spires (San Francisco) just south of the Golden Gate Bridge.
