Blogger integration with Google Domains for business (10 Years Ago This Week)
On January 13, 2015 Google Domains was opened to US users, with Blogger integration. It was touted as an easy way to set up a blog for your business.
This was just one of Google's attempts at getting businesses online.
Simple business websites launched in 2017, but that was shut down in 2024.
Google Domains wasn't out of beta until 2022, then was sold off to Squarespace in 2023.
What's left? Google Sites for Google Workspace and Blogger, which still lets you add a custom domain (just not on Google Domains).
