Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 3/4 inch flat bristle, 1/4 inch flat bristle, #2 round synthetic
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, green oxide, cobalt blue, chrome yellow, fluorescent orange, burnt umber (brown)
Other: pencil, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. Pencil – Draw outline for landscape
2. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat for sky and landscape with black, white, blue, green, brown
3. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Finish sky and paint 1st layer to sun with white, yellow, orange, sky blue (made in step 2)
4. 1/4 inch bristle brush – Paint distant hills with tan (made in step 2), brown, white, yellow, orange
5. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint grass and field with dark green (made in step 4), yellow, white, and orange
6. Pencil – Draw outline for horse
7. #2 round brush – Paint base coat for cowboy, horse and tree with, black, dark green, tan
8. #2 round brush – Finish horse, cowboy and tree with brown, white, black, orange, yellow, tan
9. 1/4 bristle brush – Finish sun with white, yellow, orange
10. #2 round brush – Sign with brown
