Android Tutorial 1: Android Essentials
This tutorial looks at some introductory topics in Android development, including working with the SDK/AVD Manager, creating a new Android project in Eclipse, exploring the project file hierarchy, creating a set of density independent image resources with Gimp, adding an image to our app's layout, having our app support multiple languages, and finally, how to run the app on our desktop using an emulator.
