Have you ever noticed that Nikon and Canon for example NEVER quote the dynamic range of your camera sensor?

Of course they don't - they leave that to 3rd Party testers, and rub their commercial hands together with joy when the likes of DXOMark pronounce their typical huge and wild dynamic range test results.

Here is a really easy and cheap way for you to get an accurate ball-park USABLE dynamic range for your own camera sensor.
