The SEAL's Controversial "Black Knife"
During Operation Desert Storm, several small, unmarked switchblades were carried into battle. These knives had no name: known only as the 'black knife', they were designed by a knifemaker in Largo Florida. Although history has nearly forgotten the black knife, its impact on modern automatic knives like the Benchmade AFO and Microtech LUDT cannot be understated.
