Numerical 1:
A rough pipe of diameter 400 mm and length 1000 m carries water at the rate of 04 m³/s. The wall roughness is 0.012 mm. Determine the co-efficient of friction, wall shear stress and centre-line velocity.

Numerical 2:
A smooth pipe of diameter 400 mm and length 800 m carries water at a rate of 0.040 m³/s. determine the head lost due to friction wall shear stress, centre line velocity and thickness of laminar sub-layer. Take kinematic viscosity of water as 0.018 stokes and co-efficient of friction f=0.079/(Re^(1/4))
