I've always had trouble printing with filament samples. I couldn't find a good solution for me, so I decided to make my own. This is what I came up with.
I created it in Fusion 360. It's a very simple design. It's basically just a filament spool split in two parts. They will just press fit together because one side's inner cylinder is slightly smaller. My goal was to make it easy and quick to take on and off without having to unravel a filament sample and try to fit it on a different spool.
