Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that he hopes that participants of the special military operation in Ukraine will return to a peaceful life "in the broadest sense of the word."
Speaking at a meeting with alumni of a Russian project on upward mobility, who share their ideas on the country’s development, Putin addressed what the participants of the special military operation are going through during military service, saying "this is a difficult story."
After wishing them success, he said that "after getting this life experience," he hopes they can "return to a peaceful life and continue this career".
Putin also asked the deputy head of the presidential administration Sergey Kiriyenko to pay attention to the participants' future, referring to "not only (prospects) in the armed forces, but also in civilian life."
