This lecture covers automatic variable selection algorithms such as Forward Selection, Backward Selection and Stepwise selection in SAS. Concepts such as SLENTRY and SLSTAY and setting P Values for including/excluding variables are discussed. Syntax for PROC REG in SAS is demonstrated with examples.
