A comparison (or relational) operator is a mathematical symbol which is used to compare two values.
Comparison operators are used in conditions that compares one expression with another. The result of a comparison can be TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN (an operator that has one or two NULL expressions returns UNKNOWN).
SQL logical operators are used to test for the truth of the condition. A logical operator like the Comparison operator returns a boolean value of TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN.
Given below is the list of logical operators available in SQL.
Operator Meaning
AND TRUE if both Boolean expressions are TRUE.
OR TRUE if either Boolean expression is TRUE.
NOT Reverses the value of any other Boolean operator.
