Couple of things to note-
Apparently, the soft burrs are more geared towards espresso and fast towards filter, speculatively. This makes sense in theory, but since I have not gotten to do any side-by-sides, it is impossible to say with any ounce of (subjective) certainty.
Also, should be noted that I am using a medium-light roast here. Certainly grinding on 2 or 3 with a darker roast would be easier since the coffee would be much more brittle.
