Justin Trudeau signals shift away from humanitarian aid, toward infrastructure
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has signalled that Canada may shift away from providing humanitarian aid in developing countries in favour of funding climate resilient infrastructure. In a year-end interview with The Canadian Press, Trudeau says countries are more interested in projects such as renewable energy and bridges or roads that can withstand weather disasters.
