Revit Snippet: Create FAKE Callouts (with Parametric Tag & Region)
This Revit tutorial will help create a fake yet fully parametric dummy callout. This dumb callout with its region and bubble head fully controlled by custom parameters and text will be necessary for referencing details and sheets in a different Revit model. A proper callout is preferred of course, but if your sheets are in a different Revit file, the only way to annotate your detail properly will require using this generic callout family which you can fully scale, change text of, change line style of, and more.
