The presidential debate covered hot topics like foreign wars, immigration and the economy. And according to a recent EWTN poll, "The economy is the top issue for Catholic voters nationwide". A CNN poll shows voters trust Harris on issues like abortion and democracy and they trust Trump on immigration and the economy. Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Matthew Continetti, joins to share whether the vice president did enough to sell a vision of a promising future and whether the former president did enough to reiterate that many people were better off 4 years ago than now. The vice president is polling better on abortion and democracy while the former president does better with the economy and immigration. Continetti discusses which set of strengths he would rather have. An article in the New York Times says political pundits scored last night a win for the vice president but undecided voters are not so sure. Continetti explains how last night played to undecideds and to voters in crucial states like Pennsylvania and Michigan.
