In this video, the 5 different cellular automata written in Python (Conway's Game of Life, Wire World, Langton's Ant, Brian's Brain and Predator vs Prey) are displayed. These cellular automation were visualised using the Pygame library for 2D graphics. Cellular automata are a set of governing rules applied to a grid of cells which have a finite set of possible states. Seemingly complex emergent behaviours can arise and from these simple rules governing adjacent cell interactions.
