Today's lesson demonstrates how a balance scale can be used to identify objects that weigh less than 100gs, between 100g and 1kg, and more than 1kg. A task where children sort objects using the above criteria and record their work on a recording sheet.

Adaptations to the task to enable the learning to take place at home when required.
