Choose the right capacitor in an RC filter (3 - Passive Filters)
When designing a circuit with an RC time constant, one has the freedom to choose R or C, but not both. So which capacitor and resistor is best given this design freedom? Here I show how to pick the right capacitor based on the frequency. I also look at inductive circuits too.
