Conflict Between Pokots, Turkanas Intensifies
Transport between Lodwar and Kapenguria remain paralyzed for the fourth day running as angry youth continued to barricade the main road connecting the towns. The youth are protesting the killing of two of their kin allegedly by militias from a neigbouring tribe in an escalation of conflict between the Pokot and Turkana communities. The barricade has left many including women and children stranded on the road. Michael Njenga with the latest from the area.
