Kyoto — Night Walk in Higashiyama【4K HDR】| Kiyomizu-dera at Night
Join Virtual Tours TV in an iconic night walk in Higashiyama District, Kyoto. Take a stroll down the slopes in the ancient capital of Japan, and explore the streets as if you were a visitor a few hundred years ago. The tour starts at Sannenzaka, a stone-paved slope constructed in 808 AD. A five-storied pagoda -- The Yasaka Pagoda, appears in sight as we continue walking down the street.
Every street in Kyoto has a story behind. Follow the footsteps of Nene, wife of the warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi as we walk along Nene no Michi (The Path of Nene), which leads to Kodaiji Temple commemorating her late husband.
After a brief walk in Ninenzaka and Kiyomizuzaka, we'll reach the world-famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of the signature World Heritage Sites in Kyoto. The tour ends with a final glimpse at the Yasaka Pagoda.
