This is the part 3 of rootmotion based locomotion system I am working on in unreal engine. Here I am going to implement turning animations to the rootmotion based locomotion system I have implemented. If the player press a key which cause the player character to move to the opposite direction of character's current forward direction, the character will first turn to that direction before starting to move. Turning will happen with a root motion based animation, so the sliding foot effect can be minimized.
