In this episode of Sound 101, Andrew shows you how to start your own podcast using the gear you already own. When it comes to how to start a podcast there are many "beginner's guide to podcasting" type videos but often they want you to purchase more gear. We show you how we start a podcast from scratch, how to edit your podcast using our Protools First template, and how to get your podcast on Spotify. This is your year, start a podcast 2019!

Normally we cover sound for video but this week we talk about how to launch a podcast on Apple. We also show you how to get your podcast on Soundcloud. This is just a primer on the concepts of Podcasting 101 and we can go further getting more downloads for your podcast later but right now Deity Microphones is excited to help launch your podcast.

This podcasting tutorial is all about podcasting for beginners and the type of podcasting equipment you need and what you can use if you already own things like the Zoom F8 or Sound Devices MixPre 3.
