Snowblind is an android malware designed to steal sensitive information from infected devices, including login credentials and financial data, while also being able to hijack user sessions.

Snowblind uniquely exploits the Linux kernel feature "seccomp", which is typically used to enhance security, turning this protective measure into a vulnerability.

The malware cleverly repackages target apps, inserting a native library that loads before anti-tampering code, effectively bypassing this crucial security check.

Once installed, Snowblind gains persistence on the device by sandboxing applications and manipulating system calls, allowing it to maintain control and evade detection.
