How to play Roblox VR on the OCULUS QUEST 2 with NO WIRES!! 100% WORKING!
Welcome back to the channel guys VR Lad here back with another helpful Roblox tutorial. It's the one you have all been waiting for! You are now able to play ROBLOX VR On the oculus quest 2 completely wirelessly and today I'm going to show you how.

Now lads Big shout out to fellow VR player GOOSIFY who approached me with this method, what an absolute legend. Here is the link to the REDDIT post! - ( / how_to_play_roblox_vr_with_virtual_desktop ) but I'm going to be covering this is great details RIGHT NOW so stick around!
So lads this method takes advantage of Virtual Desktop which allows you to stream PC VR games to your Quest. It is Recommended that you get a 5ghz router and your pc is wired to a router in order to get the best connection. Now in this video I used an OG quest but only because my quest 2 wasn't accepting my credit card to pay for VD, I did test it on the quest 2 later and it worked 100%. Also I would recommend checking the description of this video as if things change after posting the video ill be updating the tutorial there.

** IMPORTANT UPDATE! 6/02/2021 - Due to an update with VD you no longer need a USB. Games will run without the headset patch so all you'll need to do now is install virtual desktop on the quest and the streamer on a desktop and as long as the apps are up to date you can just select to stream a game. You will have to launch Roblox quickly like before though 💪**
So what you'll need is
1. A gaming pc or laptop capable of running Roblox in VR
2. An Oculus Quest
3. Any USB 2.0 cable
4. Steam VR
I would first recommend updating steam VR for this to work and I'm also going to assume you have Roblox player installed and you have all the software to run VR games on your PC.

I am also going to assume you have side quest on your PC and you know how to sideload apps, if you don't know how to do either of those then click the card in the videos
Now LADS this method does 100% work on both quests but it is always the case there are errors especially when there is such a large amount of people using this tutorial. So what I will do is after I post this video I will keep an eye on the comments section and over the next few weeks I will make a basic troubleshooting tutorial so let me know if you have any issues! If I have done that already it will appear over head here so if something isn't working then click that! But that's it guys.
