In this video, I show you my TCD1304-based spectrometer. This is just a prototype, but it is a good starting point to see how to develop this project further. I built a driving circuit for the TCD1304 using my custom PCB, then I measured two lasers and used them for calibrating the CCD. Then, I measured the spectra of different LEDs.
