"Tonight is What it Means to be Young!", from the movie Streets of Fire.
Okay, Streets of Fire, is never going to be in anyone's "top 10" list, and maybe not even in most "top 100"....but...
But, it's got most of the high points that make a good "rock opera", and could make a good ballet? Girl makes it big, gets in trouble, old love / boyfriend come back to town and risks everything to save her...
And, the Orlando Ballet had live motorcycle on stage before (decades ago, I think Phyllis Watson-Sultzbach in either the Firebird or Carmina Burana, when they had the motorcycle racing across the stage?)!
And, as for Rock 'n Roll? Well, the Orlando Ballet has done this too! About a dozen years ago, they had a piece with Carlos Santana's "Oye Como Va"?
So, how about someone there either buy the rights to this story (probably cheap) or write a new version of "Girl makes it big, gets in trouble, old love / boyfriend come back to town and risks everything to save her."...and let the choreographers go to work....making a great premier of a "Rock 'n Roll Ballet Fable"? :)
Yes, I'm nuts....but just thinking outside the box! :)
