This video shows the difference between row_number, rank and dense_rank analytical functions in oracle database with appropriate easy to understand examples, along with it the video demonstrates the different output obtained when using either of the three functions. Apart from simple explanation of the function we also show how partition by and order by clause can be used with the functions for tacking day to day scenarios.
