Reaktive: reactive programming in Kotlin Multiplatform

Nowadays reactive programming is one of the key skills of (not only) a mobile developer. It is successfully being used for both Android and iOS development and other platforms. With the advent of the Kotlin Multiplatform Project, there is a desire to use reactive programming in it as well.

I will talk about our Reaktive library and its features. Will superficially cover its Kotlin Native part, K/N memory model, multithreading, and how Reaktive works in Kotlin Native. I will also quickly compare Reaktive with coroutines and present the results of some benchmarks.

About Arkadii:

Arkadii works as an Android developer at Badoo and has more than 7 years of programming experience in the industry. He is very passionate about reactive programming and MVI architecture. The founder and the main contributor of Reaktive - a Kotlin Multiplatform library for reactive programming.
