Established on April 2000 by Mr. Comendador and Mr. Maqueda, ALTERNATIVE POWER GENERATION S.L. is one of the pioneers company in Spain, promoting electricity production from renewable sources , wind and photovoltaic parks.
The origin of the company is deeply connected to wind energy through the promotion of wind farms with a total capacity of 125 Mw.
ALTERNATIVE POWER GENERATION S.L. is currently still working in the sector through wind energy development, design manufacture and installing towers for the study measurement and monitoring of wind potential, but focuses on solar photovoltaic connected to the grid by G.F.M. Company (Generaciones Fotovoltaicas de La Mancha).
To provide a more complete service to its customers, GENERACIONES FOTOVOLTAICAS DE LA MANCHA (GFM) was established in 2004, a company owned 100% by Alternative Power Generation, with a initial capital of 1,100,000 € and dedicated to the technical projects managing.
Currently, GFM is one of the most representative companies in photovoltaic solar energy in Spain.Our central offices are located in Villacañas, in Toledo, Spain.
GFM is own of more than 5 MW in Photovoltaic installations, and is working to find new photovoltaic solutions.
