Join us for a trip to Tucson's ‪@ReidParkZooAz‬ to visit their unique variety of desert dwelling animals including giraffes, capybaras, lions, bears, anteaters, elephants & more!

------

The Reid Park Zoo, located in the heart of Tucson, AZ at Reid Park, is a 24 acre non-profit zoo owned and operated by the City of Tucson and opened in 1967. Home to over 500 animals, the zoo hosts a variety of unique animals from around the world - from common to nearly extinct.

This trip back was our first in years, and a lot has changed. While the zoo preps for major expansions (including the Pathway to Asia that includes a Red Panda exhibit), many exhibits have been reworked or moved to different parts of the zoo. At the entrance is the new flamingo exhibit. Following the main loop around you can find aviaries, the spectacled bear from the Andes, anteaters, capybaras, jaguar, & the Baird's Tapir. Moving into the main loop, you can find lions, brown bears, elephants (shoutout to ‪@OrdinaryAdventures‬ for making us think of the "butt check" in the elephant exhibit lol), rhinos, giraffes, & more. Finally, on the last stretch back to the exit you can find ostriches, zebras, goats, lemurs, & the new addition to the zoo - African Wild Dogs.

All in all it was a great trip out to the zoo - something we don't do often enough. We'll certainly be back to explore the expansions when they're done. Hope you all enjoyed the video. Be sure to like, comment & subscribe, & we'll see you in the next one!
