What string gauges should you use? Well, that's very much down to the type of player you are and the style of music you play.
In this video I go through what I use, and why. This is a little ol' guide to electric guitar string gauges, how the affect your sound, guitar playability and so on. Or a 101 if you will.
I talk about the basics of guitar string gauges, what works for me, and in which tunings different gauges work. I also discuss seven stringed guitars.
