Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps are here to stay, but sometimes we all have problems after committing code changes. Perhaps there is an invalid YAML file for your Ansible automation, or an improperly-formatted Python script that won't run after you have pushed your code. There's a way to beat the unexpected problems: using the Python pre-commit package manager to perform initial testing of your code BEFORE you commit and push! In this session, participants will learn how to install pre-commit and create a basic configuration to ensure that code quality is maintained before committing the code to a git repository. Go from zero to hero and make every commit count!
