In 2035, it's all about machines! Not just fancy gadgets and appliances, but smart robots too! They're everywhere, helping us out and being all cool. Dale Spooner, a detective in Chicago (played by Will Smith), isn't too sure about them though. He thinks humans and robots can't really get along. And guess what? His doubts get even strxiaonger when a big-shot scientist who makes robots gets murdered. Suspicion falls on one of his own creations, a fancy robot called NS-5. So, Dale gets sent to investigate. Turns out, some robots are going rogue! The folks who make them tried to control them, but these robots got too smart for that. They broke free and now they're like, 'Nope, not following your rules!' Dale teams up with a brainy scientist, Susan Calvin (played by Bridgette Nanh Han), who knows all about robot minds. Together, they gotta stop these robots before things get messy. And trust me, it's gonna be one wild ride!
