Redis Data with Spring Boot - Part 1 - How to configure Redis server and setup spring application
Redis is an open source, in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache, and message broker. In this tutorial we are going to see how we can start a Redis server locally and connect it to a Spring Boot application. In addition we are going to look on different caching options and as well on how we can use Redis as a locker (to lock parts of applications from being accesses while some calculation is ongoing).
