JavaScript is a high level, dynamic and interpreted programming language. Alongside HTML and CSS, it is one of the three essential technologies of World Wide Web content production; the majority of websites employ it and it is supported by all modern web browsers without plug-ins.

AngularJS (commonly referred to as "Angular") on the other hand is a web application framework which extends HTML with new attributes. AngularJS is perfect for Single Page Applications (SPAs) and has been made to address many of the challenges encountered in developing single-page applications. It uses Javascript only but in conjunction with other web technologies(HTML, CSS). It aims to simplify both the development and the testing of such applications by providing a framework for client-side model–view–controller (MVC) and model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) architectures, along with components commonly used in rich Internet applications.
