From humble beginnings selling reptiles out of a garage in 1977, Zoo Med Laboratories has grown into the Industry Standard for Reptile and Amphibian Care and Habitats worldwide!

Zoo Med has been the driving force behind some of the most revolutionary discoveries and distribution in exotic pet care, including Zoo Med's ReptiVite™ (the 1st Reptile multivitamin), as well as our specialized ReptiSun® UVB Bulbs and Fixtures (the 1st designated UVB Lamp and Fixture for Reptiles).
