Alright Aonuma and Fujibayahsi have been going sicko mode on these interviews lately. This was a big one, I didn't even get to fit most of the stuff in this short. But i'm covering their discussion on the next Zelda game, THAT spoiler moment in the ganondorf fight, and timeline placement.

Aonuma says that the next zelda game will likely not be a direct sequel to Tears of the Kingdom. he says they did everything they wanted to do in totk.

When asked about the moment when ganondorf’s Health bar goes off screen, Fujibayashi says its, “really the DNA of Nintendo.” Thinking of ways to intuitively express something visually, such as a spiky turtle shell telling you not to jump on it

And unsurprisingly, we get no actual information on any sort of timeline placement. When asked if the Hyrule shown in the flashbacks of Tears of the Kingdom predates Skyward sword or not, Fujibayashi says ”There's something a little bit clearer in our minds, but of course, it could be that we’re wrong as well! He then poses the idea that, like in real life history, you “define by the artifacts and by the data that you currently have.”
"So within what we have, there might be a correct answer, but it could be a different answer. So, i guess my answer would be that it could be both. Both could be correct.”
