How To Set Mac Terminal Anonymously / Customize Console Prompt | How To
In this video I show how to set mac terminal title and also demonstrate how to change / Customize, configure / remove some part of prompt string (PS1).
I included visual cues and instruction to make it easier to follow. You may pause anytime and repeat it as much as you can.
This is intended for macOS user and lean towards beginners but applicable to advance users as well as a refresher.
*Clarification*
In the .bash_profile portion I purposely did not elaborate on how to view it before and after command insert as to not confuse non-tech heavy or new to scripting users.
Also, there are lot of other ways to customize mac terminal.
You can always go back or reset to default your mac terminal customization.
Whether you are new or advance in MacOS utilities / apps like terminal / console / command line.
