CommAgility has a wide market focus in 5G including private networks, and to achieve this we must design platforms which support the flexibility to modify the 5G standards. We have selected ARM for our 5G solution because of the efficient and affordable SoC solutions it allows our partners such as NXP to build, while retaining programmability.

This demonstration is based on the CommAgility Reference gNodeB development platform and focusses on the performance of the wideband data converters and RF subsystem. Software defined radio is key to our platform configurability flexibility, whether it’s customers looking for narrow-band support or for waveform modification, and this solution is helping our customers prototype 5G new radio ahead of our full gNodeB implementation.
