JAWS OF FATE! Wheel of Yogg-Saron showed me the way | Hearthstone Battlegrounds
Praise the Yogg! In season 6 we got new mechanic - Tavern Spells, among them Jaws of Fate, the most unique one. Spin the wheel and change your destiny!
I played Maiev in this game, one of the best heroes at the moment, she is great especially in the lobbies where we have a strong tavern tier 6. I got through the early game with no problems, picking up pairs(Swampstriker and Surf n' Surf) and not losing too many health points. This allowed me to discover the best units like Ignition Specialist, which stabilised me. I later focused on a Nalaa-based build fueled by tavern spells using Primal Staff to double my end of turn effects. However, on turn 11 a twist happened, I spun the Wheel and drew a Mysterbox which targeted Brann in the shop. As the lobby had all the good tribes for him I decided to do a pivot! Using our bearded adventurer I built an unbelievable murloc build which brought me the win! This game was a great example that you always have to be attentive and not close yourself off to alternative strategies.
