Just got the Nordkapp RM and it needs some mods to be comfortable for me. The deep seat pan (with rather tall front) combined with the low front deck restricts tall people with long legs. The back band is mounted to the seat way too forward, limiting how far back in the seat I can go. This video shows how to reposition the back band so your bottom can use the entire seat pan.
The thigh braces are also not well positioned. Raising the rear of the seat with an aftermarket pad while removing the factory pad to lower the front helps position me better. Some added foam is needed on the sides to support my legs to make it fully comfortable. And some foam will be needed to support my ankles on the sides too. The seat back band could be a bit taller (at least if the strap was installed at the top of the band instead of lower) would be nicer. Not too bad anyway - after a 3 hour paddle yesterday if felt comfortable enough. The RM is a bit lower in the foredeck than the LV - less foot room in the RM for me...
EDIT: the hip pads are upside down and left side on the right in this video. Thanks for whoever noticed. They do indeed fit better when installed in their intended position (not as shown here).
