Lesson 1.3: Properties of Addition and Multiplication
This lesson demonstrates how to use properties and mental math to solve problems. Students will need to be able to find compatible numbers and then use properties to add or multiply. This lesson was designed for fifth grade students at Marion Mix Elementary School in Elk Grove, CA.
