Weird glitchy echo audio issue
I have a Sony X900H connected to my PC / RTX 3070 via an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable in Input 4, and a Vizio soundbar via eARC in Input 3. For several months now, I've had an issue where the audio playing from the PC will be fine for a while, but then it will start to echo and eventually cut out completely for a few seconds, then return to normal for a couple minutes, and repeat the problem again. I'm not sure if the problem lies with the TV, the PC, or the soundbar. I've replaced both HDMI cables to both the PC and soundbar twice, so I'm confident that cables aren't the issue. I've performed a master reset on the TV. Rebooting the PC seems to help temporarily, but the issue always comes back. Not sure what else to try. I'm afraid it's a defect in either the HDMI port on the TV or the RTX 3070.
