Sorry for the disappearing video. I re-uploaded the match in HD (High-Definition) format for better viewing because the first was pretty crummy quality. Hope this is better and you all enjoy! Again, apologies that the commentary is all in French. It was broadcast as a live stream on Eurosport 2 with no English subtitles, another reason for the lack of quality to begin with: live stream.

USWNTer, NWSL Orlando Pride Captain and now Olympique Lyonnais Feminine striker, Alex Morgan, plays her first French League match for her new club, Lyon, a 3-0 away win in which she recorded an assist in the 21st minute on a goal by fellow striker and attacking forward partner, French International, Eugénie Le Sommer to put the team up 1-0, which proved to be the game winner. Le Sommer also converted on Alex's deflected shot, picking up the rebound and slotting the ball home to make it 2-0. Morgan had some good looks on goal but was unable to put away any chances most likely due to rust, having not played a complete game in two months, along with having to adjust to a new (for her) European style of play and new teammates, all internationals, with a majority playing for the French squad. Morgan was subbed off in the 73rd minute, replaced by French International, Claire Lavogez, to raucous cheers from Lyon fans, team owner, Jean-Michel Aulus and other supporters that made their way to Brittany to cheer on the US and Global “Face” of Soccer (futbol or football to most). She also received a nice round of applause from Head Coach, Gérard Prêcheur, and fellow teammates. The match also marked the debut of recent University of West Virginia college graduate, defender and Canadian International, Kadeisha Buchanan.

Alex Morgan Highlights include:

1) Morgan's 1st shot on goal, a right footed strike (minute unknown)

2) 9th minute flicked header redirected on goal

3) 21st minute assist to Sommer (1-0)

4) 26th minute shot on goal/scramble rebound picked up and netted again by Sommer (2-0)

5) 45th minute one-touch half volley attempt on goal but hit right at keeper:(

6) 59th minute left footed shot on goal right at keeper though:( (Very uncharacteristic of Morgan who normally would have placed it in the far post netting, given her superior ability for world-class finishes in tight spaces. Maybe it was nerves but shocked she didn't score. Bet she a million percent wants that chance back.)

7) 72nd minute goal (3-0) from Ada Hegerberg in which Morgan was pulling the defense wide right. It could be debated Hegerberg could have crossed to Morgan for an easy tap in far post but the Norwegian International continued her run and slotted the ball home herself. Bummer:(...for Morgan fans that is...:)

8) 73rd minute Morgan is subbed off to major fan and coach/teammate applause for a valiant first effort to make way for French International, Claire Lavogez
