• Feat: Great Weapon Master

• Baretha or just about any melee Githyanki can't parry while Blinded, conveniently enough that's what Warlock does pretty often, using Darkness or Hunger of Hadar.
• Hunger of Hadar doesn't trigger the First Strike rule, allows you to retain your action when combat starts. This gives you free damage and guaranteed Advantage on attacks.
• Water bottle is used to double the cold damage from Hungar of Hadar and lightning damage from Lightning Charges.
