Do not underestimate your old Nikon 18-55mm kit lens (NON-VR DX version). With my very simple modification, this lens could be the cheapest macro lens you'll ever need for macro photography on a budget! Only works with Nikon non-VR kit, or on lenses with long extended filter thread barrels.
