I am not giving this video a proper title because it turned out to be not really about anything at all. You basically get to witness my ineptitude at hobby electronics when I confidently rush into something with little prep work. Another Watts the F*** moment.
To answer some questions before they arise. The onboard regulator is attached to the USB comms (power hungry stuff... sort of) at the 5v input *may not be true*, I wanted to keep the programming circuit intact to I wanted a piggy-back power solution. I could get away with 3 Nimh or even 2 for a short period of time but I might not always be the one replacing the batteries so for peace of mind I decided I needed a regulator.
While it is likely to sit on a desk somewhere I just like it being battery powered and I chose a battery type that would be easily rechargeable/replaceable.
It turns out that 'Likes' and 'Shares' actually help the channel so, if you want to, please click the thumbs up or share the video.
I don't have a Patreon or a donate thingy, I get by fine. That said, if you are mega rich and fancy donating something I would find useful then feel free to check out my Amazon wishlist (No pressure) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wish...
